• 1 lb carrots scrubbed or peeled, with tops removed
  • 1/2 stick of butter 
  • 1 c of water
  • 1 vanilla bean(optional)
  • 1 dash of clove
  • 1 T brown sugar
  • 1 T The Killer Cook's Punk Pumpkin Spice Rub 


Combine the carrots with the butter, brown sugar, spices  and water in a medium saucepan. Stir to blend the ingredients thoroughly. Bring the mixture to a boil over high heat. Reduce the heat to medium-low and continue boiling (uncovered) for about 20 to 25 minutes, or until carrots are tender and the liquid has evaporated. Check and stir frequently to keep the sugar from scorching. Add more water, as needed. As the liquid boils down, the water will evaporate, leaving the carrots cooked and nicely glazed with the spiced sauce.
